Kris Ashton

Kris is an accomplished systems analyst, consultant, course developer, technical instructor, author and evangelist. Kris is an expert, with many years of experience, in eliciting, documenting and managing requirements for IT (and non-IT) projects.
Kris is one of the founders and principals of The Center for Requirements Excellence, a Denver-based consulting firm that provides training and consulting services to individuals and organizations, working with them to deliver successful projects. In workshops and consulting sessions, her candid response to individual situations allows participants to honestly evaluate and improve their skills. Workshop participants learn cutting-edge practices, as well as how these practices integrate into the real world [that’s the evangelist part!].
In a former life Kris was the co-author of Inside DOS 6.2 as well as a contributing author to Inside OS/2 and Mastering Windows NT Server. Kris is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
When not facilitating workshops or providing consulting services, Kris is traveling the world, visiting exotic and interesting places.
